What is a Student Ticket?
For Codegarden 2026, we’re hoping to attract the next generation of developers.
Student Tickets are free tickets offered to a limited number of students or junior developers who are interested in learning more about Umbraco, open-source communities, and the wider tech ecosystem. These tickets are designed to make it easier for students to participate, connect, and grow - especially for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.
Applying does not guarantee a ticket, but we will review all applications and select students who demonstrate genuine interest, curiosity, and a desire to be part of the Codegarden experience.
Who can apply for a Student Ticket?
Student Tickets are intended for students who would love to learn more about Umbraco and experience Codegarden 2026 but may face barriers - financial, social, or otherwise - that make participation difficult.
We also welcome junior or early‑career developers, as well as first‑time attendees, who believe they would benefit from the learning, networking, and community experience that Codegarden provides.
Practical Information
The deadline for applying for a Student Ticket is March 31st, 2026. We will notify all applicants of the outcome in the beginning of April 2026.
You can only apply for the Student Ticket as a 1 day in-person ticket. The ticket does not include travel or accommodation, so please consider this if you're applying for an in-person ticket.
If you receive a Student Ticket, it will not be stated anywhere - your ticket and name tag will look exactly the same as anyone else attending the event.
