Bike ride with CTO Filip Bech-Larsen
Kick off your Codegarden 2026 experience with some fresh air and a bit of pedal power! Before we dive into the deep tech sessions and keynotes, we’re heading north of Copenhagen for a scenic ride through the stunning Dyrehaven (The Deer Park).
Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or just in it for the views and the cake, this is the perfect way to connect with fellow Umbracians before the main event kicks off.
The Plan for the Bike Ride
When: Tuesday, June 9th, 2026.
Meeting Point: Café Parforce, Dyrehavevej 1, 2930 Klampenborg.
Getting There: It couldn’t be easier—just hop on the S-train (Line C) from Copenhagen Central Station and take it all the way to Klampenborg Station. The café is right there!
Schedule
12:30: Arrival and greetings. Meet the group at Café Parforce for a pre-ride chat.
13:00: Bike pickup and rollout.
13:00 - 15:00: We hit the trails!
15:00 - 16:00: The finish line reward—coffee, cake, and a chance to chat at the café before heading back to the city.
Choose Your Pace
We’ve planned the routes in advance to make sure everyone has a fantastic time. Depending on how you’re feeling on the day, you can join one of two groups:
The Tempo Group: For those who want to keep a steady, brisk pace and cover a bit more ground.
The Social Group: For those who prefer a more relaxed speed with plenty of time to soak in the surroundings.
Both groups follow a pre-planned route, so you can focus on the ride and the conversation rather than the map. No need to decide right now, the groups will be formed on the day.
