We Need to Go Deeper: Extending Umbraco's Extensions

To participate, it is required to sign up.

Date: Tuesday, June 9th 2026

Place: CPH Conference right next to Øksnehallen.

Workshop hosts: Corné Hoskam (HQ), Ronald Barendse (HQ) and Nathan Woulfe (HQ)

Umbraco's commercial products aren't locked down. They're extensible, just like the CMS. And when you start combining them, interesting things happen. The same Extension Registry that powers the CMS runs through Engage, Deploy, Workflow, and the rest of the commercial suite. That means you have the same capabilities as Umbraco HQ developers. You can customize, override, and combine functionality in ways the original authors never anticipated.

Join us in this workshop as we explore the practical, the creative, and the slightly unhinged possibilities of combining Umbraco's commercial products together. You'll learn the core patterns, from Extension Manifests and the Extension Registry to cross-product API consumption and Context sharing, all while building things that range from genuinely useful to "why would anyone do this?"

Spoiler: because we can.

You'll walk away understanding:

- How to register Extension Manifests that interact with multiple products

- Consuming and providing Contexts across different products

- Building Lit Elements that pull data from different APIs

- The shared patterns that make all Umbraco commercial products tick

Maximum capacity: 20 people
