Codegarden isn’t your average developer conference - it’s an experience!
Each year, alongside inspiring sessions and workshops, we organize a variety of unique side activities and surprises for attendees.
From adrenaline-pumping challenges like bull riding to lively parties and guided tours exploring the charm of Odense, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to connect with fellow developers, unwind with sports, or dive into local culture, Codegarden has it all.

Codegarden SocialRide
Tuesday June 17th - 7.30am
> From Umbraco HQ
Gear up and get ready for the ultimate Codegarden warm-up! Join CTO Filip Larsen and fellow cycling enthusiasts for a ~30-40km ride around HQ as a prelude to Codegarden and the Business Summit.
The route features a mix of gravel and tarmac with no challenging climbs, making it perfect for cyclists who are comfortable riding in smaller groups.
Need equipment? Bike and helmet rentals are available, and you can even snag an exclusive Umbraco cycling jersey!

Codeagarden Padel Tournament
Tuesday June 17 - 8.00-9.30am
> Padelboxen (Tolderlundsvej 92, 5000 Odense)
oin us at Padelboxen for an exciting padel tournament. Expect fast-paced matches, great atmosphere and plenty of action on the courts. Christian Tvede will be your Padel leader.
Rackets and balls will be provided at Padelboxen, sign up now and be part of the competition.
Codegarden Bouldering
Tuesday 17th June - 10.30am
> From Odense Boulders, Wichmandsgade 11 (or meet up at Umbraco HQ at 10.15)
We are continuing the bouldering activity this year again with our boulder champion Michaela. She will provide you with an introduction and tell you all about safety and how to fall nicely.
Some practical information:Shoe rental for 35DKK (approx 5 euros) for the entire session. Wear thin socks in these shoes
Bring comfortable clothes that are not afraid of chalk.
There is no showers at the venue, so you will have to pop back to your hotel (or use the shower at Umbraco HQ)
If you need a break or a refreshment, there is a cafe at the venue providing water, coffee, beer and more.

Even the pre-party is open source!
Sharing drinks from the different countries and cultures the Umbraco Community come from is an amazing celebration of its diversity. Be it soda, beer, cider, or something else entirely, send or bring a bunch to HQ and we'll be sure to serve them up and the Pre-Party!

Codegarden Runners
Wednesday 18th & thursday 19th June - 7am
> Meet up at Milling Hotel Plaza
Lace up your running shoes and enjoy two days of sessions of Running during Codegarden week. On Wednesday and Thursday morning with our experienced runner Ask from HQ, he will be in charge both days and will be pushing you.
This year the meet up point will be in front of Hotel Plaza and the running distance is approx. 2.5- 4.5km.
Don't forget your waterbottle. No sign ups, only show up =)
The Codegarden Dinner Party
Thursday june 19 - 6pm
> Codegarden venue, DOK5000
Forget all about a simple sit-down dinner with cozy entertainment—this is the Umbraco Dinner Party!
Get ready for an evening packed with delicious food, unexpected surprises, lively performances, audience participation, and even a round of bingo. If you have your Codegarden ticket, this is an evening you don't want to miss!
City tour in Odense
Friday 20th June - 14.30-16.00

Are you ready for a cultural city tour in Odense? This year our guide Christian will take you on a “Hans Christian Andersen's Footsteps “ tour. The tour will be approx 1.5h.
